Targetoo’s site was relatively new and, because of this, didn’t have the luxury of links built over a long amount of time. As well as this, the site had not been optimised for either Google or it’s audience in it’s history. Because of this, the site received only a small amount of organic traffic, therefore creating a low amount of revenue generated.
Thorough keyword research showed the keywords that would be possible to rank for quickly and that would bring in relevant traffic. As well as this, an audit provided a list of essential tasks to complete so that Targetoo’s site would be best-placed to start appearing high on Google’s rankings. Finally, a backlink strategy was put in place that would bring the site’s web authority higher.
Once the issues found through the audit were completed and each page was optimised for target keywords, Targetoo began to rank for major keywords such as “Mobile DSP”, “Mobile DSP Advertising” and “Demand Side Platform”. As well as this, content articles such as “What is RTB”? and “What is Programmatic?” started to rank for long tail keywords, increasing organic traffic, even further.
